Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a front surface plate from being deformed and being rendered to oxydization corrosion owing to radiation heat from a furnace.
SOLUTION: In a low calorie gas burner wherein a heavy oil burner 2 is provided inside a gas burner to which low calorie gas m is supplied, and a low calorie fuel and a high calorie fuel are mixed for combustion, the heavy oil burner 2 is supported on a front surface plate 6 of the low calorie gas burner, and a heat shielding plate 8 is provided on the side of a burner nozzle of the front surface plate 6 for shielding radiation heat from the furnace. The heat shielding plate is mounted with a bolt seat and bolts, and a space is formed between the heat shielding plate and the front surface plate with the bolt seat. The heat shielding plate is provided in a form divided into a plurality of sub- forms. Temperature of the front surface plate on which the heat shielding plate is provided is sharply reduced, and the amount of deformation happening on the front surface plate can be sharply reduced together with prevention of oxidization corrosion.
