Abstract:

To provide a low-density paper that can readily give a low density in no need of formulation of expandable microcapsules and is readily controllable in its sheet strength and flexibility.

TMP and curled fibers are mixed and paper-made into a low- density paper in which the compounding ratio of TMP/curled fibers/the other pulp is (10-100)/(10-90)/(0-40) and its sheet density is 0.1-0.6 g/cm3.
