Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a settling time considerably by short-circuiting a capacitor when a level of an input signal is decreased.
CONSTITUTION: The low pass filter is provided with charge discharge switches SW1, SW2 connected in parallel with capacitors C1, C2, a detection circuit Ci detecting a level change in an input signal, and a control circuit D controlling the switching of the charge discharge switches SW1, SW2 in response to a level change in the input signal detected by the detection circuit Ci and when a level of the input signal is decreased, the charge discharge switches SW1, SW2 are closed to short-circuit the capacitors C1, C2, the charges of which are rapidly discharged.
