Abstract:
The present invention provides a low-profile composite antenna device which enables a reduction in size while retaining antenna transmission/reception properties. A low-profile composite antenna device for vehicles comprises a base plate 10, a circuit board 20, an antenna cover 30, a first element 40, and a second element 50. The antenna cover 30 has a ridge part 31, the lengthwise direction of which is oriented in the vehicle advancing direction, and side surface parts 32 which extend from both sides of the ridge part 31. The first element 40 is disposed on the left side with respect to the vehicle advancing direction and is disposed so as to be inclined with respect to the base plate 10 in a frontal view from the vehicle advancing direction. The top side 41 thereof is disposed in the vicinity of the ridge part 31. The second element 50 is disposed on the right side with respect to the vehicle advancing direction. The top side 51 thereof is disposed in the vicinity of the ridge part 31 with a gap between the top side 51 and the first element 40. The second element 50 is disposed oppositely from the first element 40, from the ridge part 31 toward the base plate 10.
