Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the expansion and the contraction of the absolute value of the flat plate of the tank by providing the large corrugated part with the winding part and the small corrugated part which contacts and is lower than the large corrutation. CONSTITUTION:The large corrugation with the winding part 4 and the small corrugation 3 which is lower than the large corrugation are made in the tank flat plate 1, and they are so designed that the ridgeline 3 of the small corrugation contacts the bent part 6 of the winding part 5. By doing so, the contraction in the ridge- line direction of each corrugation 2, 3 at the injection of the ultra-low temperature liquid to the tank can be absorbed by the anti-clockwise rotation of the winding part 5, and neither more nor less absolute value of the flat plate 1 are generated as the corrugations 2, 3 meet at the natural curve shown by the dotted lines 4, and therefore, the expansion and the contraction of the absolute value of the flat plate 1 can be prevented.
