Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the thermal oscillation of piping by providing a check valve at a position near to an inner tank in a piping which is communicating with the inner tank with the piping penetrating an outer tank of a vessel which is to store a cryogenic coolant such as a liquid helium etc. CONSTITUTION:An inner tank 1 which is to store cryogenic coolant is wholly enclosed by an outer tank 2 and a vacuum heat insulation layer 3 is formed between the inner/outer tanks 1, and 2. A piping 4 is communicating with the inner tank 1 while penetrating the outer tank 2 and in this piping 4 near to the inner tank 1 inside the outer tank 2, a check valve 6 is provided. Tanks to this check valve 6, the cryogenic coolant gas inside the tank 1 can only back-flow up to the position where the check valve 6 is arranged. Owing to the aboves, the length of the piping 4 is virtually shortened in relation to an oscillation, since the oscillational condition is changed drastically with respect to the piping 4, hence the thermal oscillation of the piping can be effectively prevented.
