Title:
LOW TEMPERATURE WASTE GAS DRIVING AND FREEZING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3640378
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an efficient freezing output under utilization of waste heat gas generated from a micro gas turbine.
SOLUTION: High temperature side hydrogen absorbing alloy containers having hydrogen absorbing alloy therein are mounted at high temperature side heat exchangers 4a, 4b acting as heat exchanging portions. Low temperature waste heat gas generated by a micro-gas turbine 1 is fed into the heat exchangers 4a, 4b, and a direct heat exchanging is carried out with the alloy container. In turn, low temperature side hydrogen absorbing alloy containers 71, 81 having hydrogen absorbing alloy stored therein are mounted on low temperature side heat exchangers 7, 8 acting as heat exchanging units, a high temperature side alloy container and a low temperature side alloy container are connected by hydrogen moving pipes 6a, 6b. The high temperature side hydrogen absorbing alloy can be heated efficiency with the waste gas of relative low temperature, the alloy is applied as a driving source, a freezing heat caused by discharging hydrogen at the low temperature side hydrogen absorbing alloy is generated and it can be effectively utilized. A high energy utilizing efficiency can be attained by a compact device.
