PURPOSE: To obtain a low vibration magnetic core wherein vibration caused by magnetostriction is effectively restrained and manufacturing is possible at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: A steel plate at a part position which comes into surface contact with other components is constituted of a silicon steel plate of low Young's modulus and low magnetostriction. A steel plate of the other part is constituted of a silicon steel plate whose Young' modulus and magnetostriction are higher than a silicon steel plate. Preferably, the above silicon plate of low Young's modulus and low magnetostriction is constituted of Si:4.5-7.0wt.%, Mn:0.03-0.5wt.%, and Ni:0.05-5wt.%, and the residual part is composed of Fe and unavoidable impurities.
