Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower body structure of an automobile that can improve rigidity.
SOLUTION: In this lower body structure of an automobile, both side end portions of a panel constituting the floor part are joined to the inner panel side of the side sill part. A reinforcement 15 is joined between the lower surface of the panel 9 constituting the floor part and the lower end portion of an inner panel 6 of the side sill part 5. Moreover, the front end portion of the reinforcement 15 is joined to a reinforcement member disposed in the vehicle width direction at the lower surface of the panel 9 constituting the floor part. This provides a closed cross section structure S.
