PURPOSE: To punch several kinds of sheets having different shapes and sizes without using a new lower die by changing the position of the lower die with respect to a lower die support member.
CONSTITUTION: A protrusion 147 at the upper end of a lower die support member 140 is fitted upward between the opposed surfaces of an inner side wall 141b and an outer side wall 141a of a lower die 141, the inner side wall 141b being formed at its inner surface with a rack 150, and accordingly, the lower die 141 is fixed to the lower die support member 141. The rack 150 at the inner surface of the inner side wall 140 is vertically meshed with a rack 148 at the inner surface of a protrusion 147 on the lower die support member 140. With this arrangement, the lower die 141 is positioned to the lower die support member 140. By changing the meshing position between the racks, the supporting position of the lower die 141 with respect to the lower die support member 140 is changed to cope with a shape and size of a sheet. As a result, it is possible to cut several kinds of sheets having different shapes and sizes with the use of a single lower die.
