Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to scrape down lower leaves thoroughly without leaving a part of the lower leaves or the petioles while remarkably reducing damages to the stems of flowers.
CONSTITUTION: In this lower leaf dropper of flower sorter, the rotary shaft 60 is inclined at a prescribed inclination angle θ from the conveyance direction (w) of a feeder (B) so that spike teeth 61,... driven and rotated thereby may apply a propelling force to the stems 50 of flowers 5 conveyed by the feeder (B) in the conveyance direction (w) of the feeder (B) at a propelling speed corresponding to the conveying speed of the feeder (B).
