Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily eliminate dust and the like accumulated in a guide groove by fitting an inner rail of U-shape cross section into the guide groove of a lower rail of U-shape cross section for guiding the lower end of a folding door or the like.
SOLUTION: A lower rail is a long-sized member of approximately U-shape cross section. Horizontal pieces 2, 2 and hanging pieces 3, 3 are extended from the upper ends of both side pieces 1, 1, and a guide groove 4 is formed between both side pieces 1, 1. An inner rail 5 is a long-sized member of U-shape cross section, and a lower piece 7 and an upper piece 8 are horizontally extended from the upper and lower ends of a side piece 6. The inner rail 5 is divided into a plurality of rails according to the length of the lower rail and fitted into the guide groove 4. A clearance between the upper pieces 8 and the side piece 1 is made sliding space 9, and a connecting member for connecting a folding door to a guide roller rolling in the guide groove 4 is passed through the sliding space 9. The upper piece 8 therefore prevents dust from entering into the guide groove 4, and in case of dust entering into the guide groove 4, accumulated dust can be easily eliminated by lifting the inner rail 5.
