PURPOSE: To keep rear wheels at the prescribed position when a vehicle is turned irrespective of the deformation of a vehicle body by forming an easily deformable part which is elastically deformed by the transverse force while keeping the bending rigidity on a strength member subject to the transverse force to be applied from a suspension arm to a suspension member.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of side members 25, 27 along the longitudinal direction are respectively arranged at the lower part of the rear part of the vehicle body on each side in the width direction. A rear cross member-rear 41 is connected to a rear cross member-front 43 which is a strength member between the side members 25, 27. A pair of suspension members 31a, 31b which are directed in the longitudinal direction on each side in the width direction are arranged therebetween, and the left and right rear wheels 13a, 13b are supported thereby. In addition, a pair of suspension arms 29a, 29b are supported at the middle part in the longitudinal direction of the suspension members 31a, 31b. An easily deformable part 45 which is elastically deformed by the transverse force while keeping the bending rigidity is formed in the rear cross member 43.
