Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a lowering speed adjustor for a rope which enables the lowering of even children, old persons, ladies and the like with a very weak gripping power along a building very simply and in safety using a rope.

CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is provided with a first shaft member 4 as a bending shaft of a rope 3, a winding shaft member 5 wound with the rope 3 via the first shaft member 4 with a specified eccentricity from the first shaft member 4, a second shaft member 6 which is arranged at a position almost vertical to the first shaft member 4 to act as a bending shaft of the rope 3 via the winding shaft member 5 and a cylindrical grip 8 which is pierced by the rope 3 via the second shaft member 6. Moreover, a pressing member 7 is arranged to press the rope 3 wound on the winding shaft member 5 so that the rope 3 can be pinched with the winding shaft member 5 and a grip 9 is arranged holdable together with the grip 8 to make the pressing member 7 move.
