Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition which shows an extremely low friction coefficient when used as a lubricant for a low-friction slide material, and to provide a sliding mechanism excellent in low friction property and abrasion resistance by combining the lubricant composition with a sliding member having a DLC coating on a sliding surface.
The lubricant composition for a low-friction slide material includes an organic molybdenum compound which has a nitrogen (N) atom and/or an oxygen (O) atom, and may have a sulfur (S) atom in a molecule, wherein a sulfur content is at most 0.5 mass% by a compound basis. In addition, the sliding mechanism using the same is disclosed.
