To provide a (per)fluoropolyether lubricant grease that comprises a small amount of a thickener PTFE, has a combination of a small wear value and a small friction value, is suitable for bearings operating at a high-speed and in a wide temperature range, and can be manufactured in a simple and reproducible way on an industrial scale at a low cost.
This lubricant grease comprises a surfactant in a content of less than 20 ppm, a water content of less than 100 ppm, (A) 65.1-95 wt.% of a (per)fluoropolyether oil with viscosity of 20-2,000 cSt at 20°C, and (B) 5-34.9 wt.% of a powder of polytetrafluoroethylene or a tetrafluoroethylene copolymer with another monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated group. The powder is obtained by coagulation of an aqueous latex electrolyte comprising polymer particles having a size in a range of 5-100 nm.
