To prepare a lubricant composition having excellent lubricating performance and capable of imparting a highly, practically reliable magnetically recording medium excellent in running durability and still one without impairing electromagnetically transforming characteristics by including plural specific compounds having fluorine.
This lubricant composition is prepared by including (A) at least one kind of compounds of formula I [R1 is an alkyl or an alkenyl; R2 is a perfluoroalkyl or a perfluoropolyether; (a) is 0-20; (b) is 0 or 1] and/or formula II [R3 is an alkyl or an alkenyl; R4 is a perfluoroalkyl or a perfluoropolyether; R5 is 0 or S; (c) is 0-20; (d) is 0 or 1] and (B) a compound of formula III [R6 is an alkyl or an alkenyl; R7 is a perfluoroalkyl or a perfluoropolyether; R8 is O or S; (e) is 0-20; (f) is 0 or 1; R9-R11 are each a 1-20C hydrocarbon] preferably at a ratio (the compound A/the compound B) of (8/2)-(2/8).
