Abstract:
To obtain a two-cycle gasoline engine oil excellent in cleanness, therefore capable of maintaining two-cycle gasoline engines at high performance levels over a long period.
This lubricating base oil consists mainly of a base oil with a dynamic viscosity at 100°C of 4-20 mm2/s, viscosity index of ≥75, condensed polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (DMSO extract) content of ≤0.1 wt.%, and sulfur content of ≤1.0 wt.%. The lubricating oil composition is obtained, as necessary by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of the above base oil with 0.1-2.0 pts.wt. of a phenolic antioxidant.
