Abstract:
To provide a lubricating composition having improved friction reduction properties.
The lubricating composition comprises a major amount of a base oil and an organomolybdenum compound, wherein the base oil is selected from the group consisting of polyalkylene glycol (PAG) and neopentyl polyol ester or a combination thereof. In another aspect, a method of improving the friction reduction properties is provided, which method comprises lubricating with the lubricating composition.
