Title:
LUBRICATING DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008031959
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a lubricating device for internal combustion engine capable of reducing air bubble mixing ratio of oil being reserved in an oil tank.

A lubricating device 20 of an internal combustion engine 1 includes an oil tank 21 provided separately from an engine body 3 having a first lubrication system and a second lubrication system, and circulates oil between the engine body 3 and the oil tank 21. The device further includes a feed pump 24 for supplying oil in the oil tank 21 to the first lubrication system, yields gas-liquid separation action to the oil recovered from the engine body 3 by a scavenging pump 22 at a gas-liquid separator 23, allows some oil with reduced oil mixing to return to the oil tank 21, and supplies the remainder of oil to a cam 12 and a chain of a valve gear 10 serving as a second lubrication system.
