Abstract:
To reliably supply lubricating oil to an abutting position between a cam and a variable mechanism in a variable valve system, even when the abutting position changes.
The lubricating device is equipped with: the cam 54 rotating with the rotation of a crank; a variable mechanism disposed between the cam 54 and a valve element 12, transmitting the movement of the cam 54 through at least one abutting part to the valve element 12, and changing the lift and working angle of the valve element by changing the position of the abutting part; and an oil delivery pipe 62 supplying lubricating oil along the track of the abutting part when the lift and working angle of the valve element 12 are changed.
