Abstract:
To provide a lubricating oil composition for a gas engine which prevents occurrence of coking, prevents corrosion of metals contained in members of the gas engine, and improves wear resistance of the members of the gas engine.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil composition for a gas engine includes: a base oil having a flash point of 240°C or more; a molybdenum friction modifier; and a viscosity modifier having a flash point of 270°C or more. In the lubricating oil composition for the gas engine, a mass of a molybdenum atom to a mass of the whole lubricating oil composition is 20 ppm or more and 800 ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
