Abstract:
To obtain a lubricating oil composition for large-sized diesel engines with low lubricating oil consumption.
This composition capable of significantly cutting lubricating oil consumption is obtained by incorporating a lubricating base oil with (1) a disperse-type polymethacrylate-α-olefin copolymer 50,000-300,000 in number- average molecular weight with the α-olefin being at least one selected from ethylene, propylene and butylene and (2) a polybutene 10,000-100,000 in number- average molecular weight.
