Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently cool the lubricating oil for a transmission by allowing the lubricating oil to flow inside the cooling fins installed outside a transmission case and forming each trough groove opened inside the transmission case. CONSTITUTION:Cooling fins 10 are installed in projection onto the outside of a transmission case 1, and lubricating oil 15 flows inside, and each trough groove 12 opened inside the case 1 is formed. Therefore, the lubricating oil in the trough groove 12 directly contacts with the outside air, and whole of the lubricating oil is effectively cooled. Further, since the trough groove 12 is formed in the same process through casting in manufacture of the transmission case 1, manufacturing cost can be reduced.
