Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increasing of the member of part items when lubricating a sliding portion of at least a part of rocker arms, in a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine wherein a rocker shaft holder integrally coupled with plural shaft supporting portions disposed at intervals in a cylinder arraying direction is fixed on a cylinder head, and a rocker shaft rockably bearing the plural rocker arms is supported by each shaft supporting portion.
SOLUTION: An oil reservoir 97 is formed on an upper surface of the rocker shaft holder 44, and a lubricating oil passage 100 communicating to the oil reservoir 97 is provided on the rocker shaft holder 44 so as to supply lubricating oil to a sliding portion of a part of rocker arms 41.
