To make it possible to set up properly both of flow and injection forms of the lubricant to lubricate the pulley and metal belt for a metal belt driven stepless transmission.
A metal belt is wound on a drive pulley capable of changing the groove width and a driven pulley, and an injection nozzle 34 is provided with a lubricant injection hole 34c that injects the lubricant and a flow regulator 34e installed on a lubricant supply line 34a continuing to the upstream side of this lubricant injection hole 34c in a lubrication unit for the metal belt driven stepless transmission that lubricates a drive pulley, a driven pulley and a metal belt by the lubricant injected from an injection nozzle 34. As a flow regulator 34e is provided in addition to a lubricant injection hole 34c, a sufficient lubrication effect can be secured by lowering the injection speed of the lubricant from the lubricant injection hole 34c regulating the lubricant to the requested flow and injecting its lubricant radially.
