Abstract:
PURPOSE: A lubrication compsn. with excellent high-pressure resistance, obtd. by mixing lube base oil with carbon fluoride and low-molecular polytetrafluoroethylene.
CONSTITUTION: A lube base oil such as mineral oil, synthetic oil, or animal and vegetable oils is mixed with 30W70wt% solid lubricant consisting of 1pt.wt. of carbon fluoride of particle size ≤20μm and 0.1W200pts.wt. of low-molecular polytetrafluoroethylene of number-average MW of 1,000W50,000 and of particle size of 0.1W50μm.
EFFECT: Friction coefficient is reduced with heavier load, which makes it possible to synergistically increase critical load pressure resistance.
