PURPOSE: To conduct the lubrication of rolling bearings for a long period of time without requiring a hand by providing an oil feed mechanism which is made up of an oil saving space and microscopic squeezed flow passages, on the inner perimeter surface of a cylindrical space-seating provided between the outer rings of adjoining rolling bearings.
CONSTITUTION: When a spindle or the like is rotated, an oil feed mechanism 13 fixed on the inner perimeter surface of a space-seating 12 by means of a screw 14, also, rotates. Lubricating oil reservoired within the oil saving space 15 of the oil-feed mechanism 13 oozes out toward the inner perimeter surfaces of outer rings 10, 10 from microscopic squeezed flow passages 16, 16 due to centrifugal force which occurs with this rotation. The lubricating oil that has oozed out on the inner perimeter surfaces of outer rings 10, 10 permeates the wholes of roller bearings 1, 1 by means of plural roll-moving bodies 11, 11 which rotate as they strike-contact the tracks of these outer rings 10, 10 and inner rings 9, 9, and the lubrication of roller bearings 1, 1 is excellently conducted. The amount of lubricating oil which can be reservoired within the oil saving space 15 of the oil feed mechanism 13 is oozed out from microscopic squeezed flow passages 16, 16. As there is found fully in abundance in comparison with the amount of lubricating oil, the operation of rolling bearing 1, 1 is conducted consecutively over a long period of time.
