Title:
LUBRICATION OIL LACK DETECTING DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6390611
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely stop an engine with the use of only mechanical means, by allowing a float to lower in association with a lack in lubrication oil to open a check valve due to vacuum effected in a crank case, and by driving the control means for engine with the use of a vacuum actuator. CONSTITUTION:When the level of lubrication oil 45 lowers below a lower limit position, a float 48 lowers to open a vacuum take-out port 49, and therefore, the inside of a crank case 1 is communicated with a valve chamber 57 in a check valve 54. As a result, positive pressure and negative pressure are alternately effected, and accordingly, a ball valve 58 is opened so that the case 1 and a vacuum actuator (not shown) are communicated with each other through pipe lines 51, 67 and the like. Then, a control rack is driven to its full close position by the actuator through the intermediary of a transmission means, and therefore, fuel from a pump section in a unit injector is cut off.
