PURPOSE: To obtain a lubrication pressure measuring apparatus for targeting a forced lubricated journal bearing in which the lubrication pressure can be measured accurately at a lubrication point of the bearing.
CONSTITUTION: In a forced lubricated journal bearing for feeding lubricant forcibly to a lubrication pocket 3 made in the inner circumferential face of a bearing bush 2 supporting a rotary shaft 1 through an external forced lubrication line 9, a pressure introduction hole 3a opening to the lubrication pocket 3 is made through the bearing bush 2. A pressure gauge 11 for measuring the lubrication pressure is coupled with the pressure introduction hole 3a through a pressure introduction hose 10 and the inner pressure at a lubrication point to the bearing, i.e., the lubrication pocket 3, is introduced directly to the pressure gauge 11 thus measuring the lubrication pressure.
