PURPOSE: To obtain film excellent in ultraviolet-screening properties, heart shrinkability, heat-sealing properties and transparency by a method wherein the shrink characteristics and optical transmission of biaxially stretching film, which mainly consists of olefin-based polymer containing the specified amount of ultraviolet absorber, are specified.
CONSTITUTION: The film concerned mainly consists of olefin-based polymer containing the effective amount or 0.5-20wt.% of ultraviolet absorber and, at the same time, has shrink characteristics SFm≥30% and SFt≥30% (SF: a longitudinal free heat shrinkage factor at 120°C m: an auxiliary symbol expressing the vertical direction, t: an auxiliary symbol expressing the lateral direction) and the optical transmission of 5% or less at the wavelength of 350nm and 30% or less at the wavelength of 380nm. The olefin-based polymer is a polymer mainly consists of propylene whose the melting point is 140°C or higher preferably 150°C or higher. Further, as the typical ultraviolet absorber to be used, benzophenone-based ultraviolet absorber and the like are exemplified.
