Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a luminaire for a study desk allowing the luminaire main body to be longitudinally moved, capable of being rotated in both directions, preventing a left-handed person from being troubled by the shadow of his own hand, and having directly invisible electric wires and a good appearance.

CONSTITUTION: A luminaire main body 31 incorporating a fluorescent lamp 33 is arranged on the lower side of a shelf plate between side plates 22 provided on the desk face of a study desk. A rotary shaft 64 protruded on the luminaire main body 31 is inserted into the slide groove 27 of a bearing body 26 fitted on the lower face of the shelf plate to be guided longitudinally movably and rotatably. Hook recesses formed on side face plates 35 on both sides of the luminaire main body 31 are slidably hooked on fixed bases 28 fixed on the inside of the side plates 22 to hole the height position of the luminaire main body 31. Electric wires 54 are hooked by an electric wire fastener 55 fitted on the rear side of a front plate. Both side sections of the luminaire main body 31 are removably and rotatably hooke4 by stopper pins 94.
