Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which ensures safety even if its cover drops and whose number of part items can be reduced.
SOLUTION: A luminaire comprises an engaging part provided in an approximately rectangular cover frame 51 fitted with a translucent cover 53 and a cover mounting metal fitting 3 provided on an approximately rectangular luminaire main body 1 and holding the cover frame 51 against the luminaire main body 1 by being locked in an engaging part provided in the cover frame 51. In this case, the luminaire includes a locked tool 55 provided at each corner of the cover frame 51 and a locking tool 5 provided at each corner of the luminaire main body 1 and projecting toward the cover 53 to function as the guide of the cover frame 51 and to engage the cover frame in the locked tool 55 while the cover frame is spaced apart from the luminaire main body 1 by a predetermined distance.
