To prevent glare caused by a reflected light within a glare cut angle.
This luminaire is composed of a reflecting mirror 3 having a light projection opening 3a at the lower end, and a lamp 4 arranged on a central axis of a reflecting mirror 3. In this case, the reflecting mirror 3, which is in cross section including the central axis thereof, is formed of a head reflecting mirror part 3b partitioned with a line perpendicular to the central axis of the lamp 4 through the lower end of the lamp 4 and an opening edge endpoint P of the light projection opening 3a, an intemediate reflecting mirror part 3c continuously provided on an upper side of the head reflecting mirror part 3b, whose upper end positioned on a line passing through an opening edge A on one side, making a glare cut angle θ1, and a base reflecting mirror part 3d continuously provided on an upper side of the intermediate reflecting mirror part 3c. Moreover, the head reflecting mirror part 3b and the intermediate reflecting mirror part 3c are formed in order that an angle θ3 from the light projection opening 3a to a reflected light, which is emitted from a lower end point C on one side of the lamp 4 and reflected at the head reflecting mirror part 3b, and an angle θ2 from the light projection opening 3a to a reflected light, which is emitted from a lower end point B on the other side of the lamp 4 and reflected at the intermediate reflecting mirror part 3c, will be deeper than the glare cut angle θ1.
