A compound represented by general formula (1) is useful as a luminescent material. R1-R10 represent hydrogen atoms or substituents, but at least one of R1-R10 is a group represented by general formula (2). R21-R30 represent hydrogen atoms or substituents, Ph represents a phenylene group, and n1 represents 0 or 1.
