Title:
LUMP PARTICLE DETECTION DEVICE AND LUMP PARTICLE EXTRACTION DEVICE USING FORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07801
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure that the accumulated amount of lump particles is reduced by detecting the accumulated amount of lump particles accurately from a fluidized bed without suspending the operation of a fluidized reactor, and extracting the lump particles properly into an area outside the reactor on the basis of the detection.

CONSTITUTION: A detection device is composed of a sensor 41 which detects lump particles 15 by allowing the particles 15 to come in contact with the sensor in a fluidized bed, under a structural design that the sensor 41 penetrates a lateral wall 10a, protruding into a fluidized reactor 10 accommdating the fluidized bed internally, and an acoustic sensor 42 which converts a lump particles contact sound from the sensor to a sonic signal. An extraction device is equipped with a dispersion plate 13 provided near the inner bottom of the reactor, a lower extraction pipe 18 which extracts the lump particles 15 into an area outside the reactor from the fluidized bed under such a structural design that the pipe 18 is provided penetrating through the bottom of the reactor, and a controller 50 which extracts the lump particle from the lower extraction pipe on the basis of a sonic signal obtained by conversion by the acoustic sensor, if the accumulated amount of the lump particles in the fluidized bed exceeds a specified value.
