Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lying posturograph which is capable of rapidly and easily measuring subject's lying posture without exerting a burden on the subject.
SOLUTION: This instrument is provided with a supporting table 1 which allows a subject to lie down on his or her back. This supporting table 1 is provided with a prescribed number of measuring elements 7 pressured by each element to the prescribed number of points in the transverse direction of the back of the subject in the state of allowing the subject to lie on his or her back in such a manner that the positions of these elements may be freely changed in a vertical direction and in the longitudinal direction of the supporting table 1. The instrument is thus so constituted that the spacing between the subject's back portion floating from the supporting table surface A and the supporting table surface A may be detected by each of the respective positions in the longitudinal direction of the supporting table 1.
