Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a bit error rate in the M-array code division multiple access MODEM.

CONSTITUTION: A sender side error correction coder is formed by combining an orthogonal coding section 13 and a convolution coder 11 to allow a receiver side to use a trelis line diagram. At a receiver side, a multiplier section 44 multiplies a PN code to a received wave to apply inverse spread and a spread signal is directly inputted to a Viterbi decoder 47 to allow distance calculation in orthogonal codes and a sender side applies interleaving at an interval of symbol to form the trelis line diagram and fading immunity is attained.
