Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a proper QoS control system satisfying a quantitative selection policy of QoS control and an introduction effect of QoS control.
SOLUTION: In a device wherein a QoS control object line within a network is stored, traffic parameters on the input side outputted to the QoS control object line are measured to calculate the quality of a packet level, and an index is determined. The index determined for measured traffic parameters of each service according with a probability profile is used to a QoS control selection measure, and selection measures obtained for respective QoS control systems are compared to select a QoS control system.
