Abstract:

To provide a simple and economical method for producing a (6H)-dibenz[c,e][1,2]-oxaphosphorin substituted on its phosphorus atom by a nitrogen compound and to provide the derivative itself.

A commercially available but relatively inert 6H-dibenz[c,e][1,2]-oxaphosphorin-6-oxide (II) is reacted with an amine (R4NH2) to synthesize a (6H)-dibenz[c,e][1,2]-oxaphosphorin derivative of formula (I). In the formula, R1 and R2, which are the same or different from each other, are each hydrogen, an alkyl, or the like; and R4 is an alkyl or the like.
