To provide a monomer, an oligomer and a polymer of a new benzo[b]thiophene and bisbenzo[b]thiophene which are readily synthesized materials for use as a semiconductor or a charge transfer material having high charge mobility, good processability and improved oxidation stability.
The monomer, oligomer and polymer of the new conjugated benzo[b]thiophene and bisbenzo[b]thiophene are provided. Furthermore, the use thereof as the semiconductor or charge transfer material in an optical, an electrooptical or an electronic apparatus including a field-effect transistor, an electroluminescent, a photovoltaic and a sensor apparatuses is provided. The field-effect transistor and a semiconductive part containing the new monomer, oligomer and polymer are provided.
