Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a system for monitoring machine elements that is compact in configuration and can remotely and reliably monitor machine elements provided in a rotating part 3 of a rotating-type marine vessel propulsion device 1. [Solution] A wireless sensor device T provided inside a rotating part detects the state of a machine element B and the like as primary data, subjects the primary data to FFT analysis, and transmits the resulting data as secondary data by using a small amount of electricity. Radio waves pass through a radio wave passage provided inside the rotating part and securely reach a reception device R provided inside a stationary part to be received by the reception device R. The radio wave passage includes a radio wave transmission hole H that is formed in a support part S integrated with the rotating part. The wireless sensor device T is in a sleep mode to save electricity except when actuated in a predetermined cycle to be in a vibration detection mode.
