Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine, a system and a method for treating contaminated soil, by which the soil contaminated with hexavalent chromium can be surely treated.
SOLUTION: This machine is provided with an oxidative-reductive treatment unit 1A for receiving the earth and sand contaminated with hexavalent chromium and mixing an oxidation-reduction agent for reducing hexavalent chromium into trivalent chromium and iron powder or powder of iron oxide for adsorbing the produced trivalent chromium with the received earth and sand to subject the earth and sand to the oxidative-reductive treatment and an insolubilizing unit 1B for mixing an insolubilizing material for insolubilizing trivalent chromium and solidifying the trivalent chromium-insolubilized earth and sand with the earth and sand treated in the unit 1A and discharging the solidified earth and sand.
