Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactified machine tool which can support a spindle movably within a plane.SOLUTION: A machine tool comprises a link structure 1c which supports a spindle 111 movably within a plane. This link structure 1c comprises a fixed link 50a, a first link 10 one end of which is turnably coupled with one end of the fixed link 50a, a second link 20a one end of which is turnably coupled with the other end of the first link 10, a third link 30 one end of which is turnably coupled with the other end of the second link 20a, and a fourth link 40 one end of which is turnably coupled with the other end of the third link 30 and the other end of which is turnably coupled with the other end of the fixed link 50a. Additionally, the second link 20a has a bar part 23a that joints both end joint parts 21, 22 integrally, and the spindle 111 is placed at the bar part 23a of the second link 20a.
