Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transmit balance information to a machine on a road and to execute the payment of the toll by storing balance information of a recording medium in a read and storage means.
CONSTITUTION: A machine 30 mounted on a vehicle 90 is provided with an IC card reader/writer which an IC card 62 where balance information is recorded can be attached to and detached from. This machine 30 on the vehicle is provided with the storage circuit, where fixed data like vehicle classification information consisting of the vehicle number, etc., and the ID code are preliminarily stored and information or the like read by the IC card reader/writer is stored, and reads and stores balance information of plural sat IC cards 62 set by the IC card reader/writer and writes balance information after toll payment in IC cards 62. Thus, balance information is read from the recording medium, where balance information is recorded, and is stored, and balance information stored in the read and storage means is transmitted to the machine installed on the road by the control means to pay the toll.
