Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix workpieces accurately and in parallel by arranging a traction operation type connection means slidably between an end part on a force amplifier means side of a screw spindle and an end part remote from a pushing bar of a force amplifier means.
CONSTITUTION: A contact member sleeve 10 is provided with a flange 12 in an end part remote from a hollow screw spindle 7 operating in a traction manner, and this flange 12 is engaged with an annular stopper 13 of a main body 1 provided close to one end part of a passage 11. A force amplifier 8 supporting this contact member sleeve 10 is provided with a wedge-shaped main member 16 and a disc-shaped auxiliary member 17. When the main member 16 is moved to the left in C direction by a pushing bar 18 stored in the hollow screw spindle 7, a roller 19 is pushed into a space which is narrowed outward in the radial direction. Thus, the auxiliary member 17 moves to the left at the same force transmission ratio by a shorter distance than the main member 16.
