To make it possible to dry a material to be dried without creases and injuries by a circulating an air in a storage part accommodating the mate rial to be dried with the help of a rotating face to absorb the moisture contained in the air with a moisture absorbent, then producing a high temperature damp air by heating the absorbent, then condensing the moisture into dew with the help of a heat exchanger to recover the moisture.
A material to be dried is suspended from a supporting bar 3 or is deposited on a rack 4 in a storage part 1, and a dehumidifying/drying machine is started. Then a damp air in the storage part 1 is taken into a dehymidifying mechanism 2 by rotation of a circulator fan 14. Next, part of the air is sent to the outside of the dehumidifying mechanism 2, i.e., to the internal space of the storage part 1 as an air current 12. In addition, a moisture suction plate 15 is hearted by a ceramic heater 16 attached to part of the plate 15 and consequently, the moisture contained in the moisture suction plate 15 is released as a high temperature damp air current 13 by the heating process, and finally condensed into dew in a heat exchanger 17, and is stored in a storage tank 8 as a water droplet.
