Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction in machining precision by distortion of a part to be machined by providing a common profile data used commonly for each pin part and a correction quantity data for correcting the common profile data, which is peculiar to each pin part.
SOLUTION: The body moving position of a first pin is set to X0+X1 (step S2), the body moving position of a second pin is set to X0+X2 (step S3), the body moving position of a third pin is set to X0+X3 (step S4), and the body moving position of a fourth pin is set to X0+X4 (step S5). A common profile data showing the X-axial 'body moving position X0' of a grinding wheel corresponding to the C-axial 'angle position' of a main spindle and correction quantity data X1-X4 for correcting X0 of the common profile data, which are peculiar to each pin part are used to control the grinding wheel and the main spindle of a headstock. According to this, the first pin to the fourth pin are ground (step S6).
