Title:
MACHINING METHOD FOR THIN-WALLED CORE METAL UNIT AND MACHINING METHOD FOR FIXING ROLLER CORE METAL UNIT FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3968213
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method for a thin-walled core metal unit having a thinner wall than a conventional core metal unit and capable of ensuring high rigidity even if an aluminum alloy material is used.
SOLUTION: The machine method for forming a rib on an inner face of a hollow and cylindrical elementary pipe 22' by rotating the elementary pipe 22' while supporting both ends of the elementary pipe 22' and pressing a spinning roller against a surface of the elementary pipe 22' is provided. When a recessed part 25b' formed by the spinning roller on an outer peripheral face of the elementary pipe 22' is removed by cutting work, relative speed of the elementary pipe 22' and rough cutting a turning tool 47 for cutting work is adjusted so that cutting resistance becomes close to a fixed value.
