PURPOSE: To simplify a focusing operation in a macro photographing area by providing a click stop mechanism between the first rotary member which rotates in accordance with a focusing operation extending from a regular photographing area to the macro photographing area, and the second rotary member which rotates in accordance with a zooming operation.

CONSTITUTION: A click stop mechanism consisting of a click spring 27 operating in the radial direction and click groove 33 is provided between the first rotary member (common operating member) 15 which is capable of rotating centering around the optical axis extending from a regular photographing area to a rotational range of a macro photographing area in accordance with a focusing operation, and the second rotary member (cam cylinder) 19 which rotates centering around the optical axis in accordance with a zooming operation. Also, this device is provided with a detaining means for detaining a rotation of the second rotary member 19, when the first rotary member 15 exceeds the closest focusing distance of the regular photographing area and goes into the rotational range of the macro photographing area, and constituted so that the click stop mechanism operates when the second rotary member 19 is detained.
